The thing is, a big part of Russ’ game is using his mobility to help him get the looks he likes but since late 2021 he hasnt been as mobile anymore. I think this will hurt him and the steelers because he doesnt want to adjust his game to his new-found lack in mobility.

I have never heard so many excuses for a QB in my life. Russell Wilson cannot throw from the pocket, Russell Wilson cannot throw to receiver on time. Russell Wilson cannot throw receivers open. And now Russell Wilson's legs aren't what they used to be. So now you're tell me Tomlin is ok with a fire drill offense, when it comes to the end of the year, tough teams, bad weather, offensive linemen not knowing where their QB is. (you can always blame the Oline because it couldn't be Russ's fault) Blame the coach or Offensive Coordinator because Russ can't run the play that was called. Good coaches set up defenses with play calling. Which is why Carroll got fed up in Seattle. Which is why Payton got fed up in Denver. But now I am to understand Tomlin can fix all that. Good Luck. I want to know the person who thinks Russell Wilson played better the Joe Flacco last year (just an example). Pete Carroll didn't want Russell any longer. Sean Payton didn't want Russell any longer. As a life long Steelers fan. The QB I wanted the least this offseason was Russell Wilson. The QB I wanted the most was Justin Fields. For what we paid for Russell, I'm okay with bringing him in.. I just don't want to commit to him. Not worried about Cam Heyward at all, that guy is a Steelers legend, let him rest. Don't trade for Aiyuk, he's too expensive.

You people and your loyalty to Justin Fields. I suppose some people believe Justin is a good quarterback, why? Where is the evidence? He had three years, three years in Chicago, and nowhere near a playoff run. I've heard the argument about not having a good offensive line. Well, most quarterbacks do not have a great offensive line, but they manage to get to the playoffs. Plus, he has a high interception rate and believes running the ball is more important than throwing the ball. And the idea that he is a good quarterback keeps being thrown out there. Because there is no way he is as good as a Super Bowl-winning quarterback (whomever that quarterback is). Look, all the GMs in the NFL had a shot at him and they ALL passed on him. Yet, some people think Mr. Fields is a great quarterback. No, he is not. However, he does have value. I think he would make a pretty good receiver, tight end, or running back.. What do you think?
