Try listening g to the Vaughan Williams version. To me, it actually sounds more traditional than this one. Also, watch The Long Memory, a 1950s film starring John Mills who lives on the Kent Marshes in a wreck of a Thames sailing barge and meets an eccentric fellow who wanders the marshes singing this song.

@@robertm7071 Yes I would. I think it's a bit weird to "love" your skin colour. It's even stranger to bring it up in a comment under a video about a song.
