The modern day line up of Steeleye Span still fronted by Maddy Prior do Tamlin. This song is one of oldest English songs in existance . A long tale indeed . Steeleye Span I have been watching for decades and tonigh they were in good form.

After listening to FC version for years good to have a change . Not a competition. I once read the olde lyrics, they go on for pages and pages. Shame both FC and Steeleye only do short very abridged versions, the proper original 35 minutes long version would be great by someone!!
