This was my favorite song from the movie. I love singing the high notes of the song. Being a tenor I can hit those notes and I only wish I could sing it with a real band and not just in my apartment. You guys wrote a hell of a song and it sucks that 911 hit and you couldn't release it. I think it would have gone to #1 easily. It's such an awesome song.

I was at your 1992 show at McNichols arena in Denver. I remember that incident like it was yesterday. I believe you were only about two or three songs into the set. I literally wore out my Steelheart cassette I played it so many times back then. Was really devastating for me when the show ended as I came to see Steelheart. I remember your guitar player played the into to "I'll never let you go", then quit as a teaser before breaking into another song. I remember later at home thinking, damn it I almost heard I'll never let you go live (which was my favorite song). I saw you at Hermans hideaway here in Denver in 2019. The concert at Hermans made me feel like I was back in 1992 as a young teen, finally seeing the band I really wanted to see. You joined us in the crowd for some sing alongs. Redemption had come and in a big way! Was one of my most memorial concerts. I would also like to add the music of Steelheart has stood the test of time. It was great back then and it's just as good today. Steelheart I salute thee!

This is such a great story of the song and even more bitter sweet for me as I personally knew Kenny K while he lived here in Ohio. I used to own a small club in Columbus and I found him online with his band here at the time. I reached out to him and ended up hiring him many many times to play our club and rock it out 🤘 he was so talented and always told the story of the song and Steelheart. He played it with such passion and sounded so good. When he passed away a few years back this song truly took a whole new meaning. RIP Kenny and long live Steelheart and their bad ass music 🤘 one of the best most underrated rock bands of all time with out doubt.
