to anyone wants to try leveling with monk skills. Keep in mind that Monk skills are DEX and INT causing you to sacrifice strength nodes. you definitely need to respec but it will be costly at how early these nodes are

just real quick leveling tip idk if anyones mentioned it. BUT i just leveled this build with shockwave totem and +1 totem nodes on tree and started demolishing at level 20 ish. Just get giant's blood and as high +melee skill 2h's as you can for your level. HIGHLY recommend. If this build for some reason gets gutted by GGG shockwave totems felt really nice. Cheers boys. EDIT: does require like maybeee 15k gold to respec but still

didn't work out for me, lvl 29, 2 totems buffed with 2x +4 melee skill weapons and still almost no dmg and above all far too slow - have now re-skilled to Minion, bought Enfolding Dawn and Scepter (2 ex total) + rebuilt tree for about 25k gold - runs about 666% better :D

Can confirm that pillar leveling is much smoother. I used Glacial cascade -> Vaulting impact -> Wind blast -> Storm Wave. Gear was Pillar, Black Sun Crest, Meginords, Icetomb, and the rest was rare gear with strength. Would recommend/10

I just got my last Ascendancy point on this build. I did it from the Djin Barya trials. I had a perfect run, all positive boons and literally no bad negative debuff for the build and the last boss was STILL insanely hard. If they don't lower the difficulty, I don't see how 99% of players will get their last ascendancy point. Build is amazing, running a version without Svalinn cause that shit is expensive as hell. Should probably farm Expedition, then I can switch! Just debating where to go with the fourth ascendancy now (using armor break and no cd warcry ofc, Jade could be good but I could also just max block with the first block node...)

Yeah the ascendancies are overtuned for sure. I can understand having the uber pinnacle bosses only for no lifers, but I would think everyone should be able to at least finish their character at some point.

I think the real end weapon for using Cry's is Sceptre's with +Strength and Allies in Presence have Attack Speed for when your totem's are alive attacking bosses.

Use both war cries. Make sure to get the juices passive nodes (20% more dmg for each war cry used recently, speed, dmg boosts, AOE etc) Infernal war cry with - Corrupting cry, raging cry, and 40% less cost. Seismic cry with - bleed chance, deep cuts, rupture, & life tap. I run 45% of my mana costs through life via the passive tree nodes too. Another node, “2% life and mana restored when a war cry is used”. War cries cost literally nothing and can spam infinitely. Only tankier bosses get to see hammer of the gods drop. Everyone else gets corrupted cried and bled well before 10 stacks. Add in bone shatter with - devastate, armour explosion, & area of effect. So, many, explosions. You can get the shield war bringer nodes alongside it and be invincible too… but I don’t want to type the literal other half of the build lol

Resonating shield, magma shield, scavenging plates, berserk (with all rage accounted for) = invincible. Also, every passive and support gem towards “empowered attacks” as infernal war cry empowers strikes while seismic war cry empowers slams (hammer of the gods).

2min into your last video before this one, I immediately changed my build to this as Titan, using Pin support to just cry all over enemies without setting Seismic on CD I find Titan is really safe as well because of their 50% increased small passives and 15% more hp ascendancy notables

Currently farming currency to buy some +6-7 weapons to put on totems, and I'm dual wielding instead of holding a shield to get another +33 strength from weapon with a Titanrot to give an extra 20% strength. Deafening Cry's and Escalation helps a ton with boss DPS from corrupted blood as well so totems aren't mandatory until about T13+ maps (my only other unique is Deidbell for the AoE, as Pin is eating up what should be Magnified effect)

Fair warning, this build can fall off in t13+ maps. I had 900+ strength, 6-link, 5x jewels with 15% global phys damage and all the passives I could get for damage. Estimated around 35k dps on single target. In a T12 map with 23% deli, I ran into a rare that I couldn't kill. All it had was regen, and I couldn't deal enough dps to break through regen, even with 2 totems up. With the way maps are completed now, you have to be able to kill every single rare, so this can't happen if you want a smooth mapping experience. The build is amazing for farming though as it's one of the fastest builds at clearing, as well as being tanky.

For the lvling part its very easy with some luck - 1 hander shield setup - use charge / leap or both for movement. Then you want to use ICry and - Eq / fast pop/ignite setup - Break armor nodes- Game play - Charge in thro and eq - Then use Bone scatter i think its called. to make it all explode - FOR st u do the same, but use perfect Strike for st instedt of bonesc izi

im leveling warrior as minion warrior , currently 32lvl just finished act2 0 deaths 5.5h play time type "minion" in the tree and get the closest 2 north circle minion nodes u need exactly 32 points and save the rest u will need maybe 25k-30k for respec at 41 but u will have more than that , right now i have 35k gold items u need: armor- enfolding dawn ( 0lvl 100 spirit ) legendary item - 1exalted orb shield - oaksworn ( 7lvl 50 spirit ) legendary item - 1exalted orb wep - scepter with 1-2 minion + spirit - 1exalted / check NPC every level amu + helm - 1minion skill skills : flame wall - fortress Skeletal Arsonist ( ur main dmg ) - concentrated effect + scattershot raging spirit - fire infusion + martial tempo pain offering - magnified effect flammability - spell cascade skeletal warrior ( skill from scepter ) - elemental army + meat shield GZ u r 41lvl

You can use a sceptre for a weapon for your cry and do dual blasphemy curse. You dont get damage from your weapon anyway

Be aware that Time of Need is currently bugged!!! If you switch weapon sets the time it takes for you to get healed the next time is multiplied by how many times you weapon swapped, making the buff extremely bad for builds that regularly weapon swap. You can currently use the build but be very careful not to swap weapons multiple times in a row!

One major issue with this build is pure physical damage. You are fucked when you encounter mobs immune to physical damages like expedition mobs if you accidentally buff them.

Love this build, I played a singer barb in d2 back in the days and as always i started with a warrior and named him SirYellaLot. perfect match and thx for the explanation would be nice to know which notes on the passive tree you recommend taking first. i'm currently level 73 and have a bit damage problems.

For leveling just go crossbows, bows, or even minions with the +100 spirit chest and respec at 42 for 30k gold, i did it with minions and it was a breeze

I'm currently planning this as a Gemling. I'm worried about earthshatter totems stunning. I could take the +2 support so I could double pin but I'd really don't want to take that and it would require 3 labs. Gemling does give me choices with spirit weapons since I can use any gem with str. Thinking double blasphamy curses.

Maybe a stupid question, but if I check Seismic Cry with corrupting cry support gem, I cant see the damage over time effect. Doing only the standart damage of Seismic Cry. Then when i put in the Brutality support gem in, I do literally 0 damage.
