He's doing Falsetto screams which aren't too difficult to do, but he does a really good job at them. He seems very consistent live.

@@Vinnay94 his technique is impeccable. My vocal teacher said that he is an amazing singer. Currently I am rehearsing this song and after months of doing that I still can't hit those high falsetto notes consistenly and I really struggle to make transitions mid line from the belt to falsetto("I am freaking gonna(here we switch to falsetto) be the MAAAAN!"). Not to mention the terrible vibrattos, you really gotta train vibratto for years to sound well....

It´s not playback, they have pre-recorded the chorus. A big part of the eighties rock bands was the HUGE chorus, difficult to perform live as well as the keyboards, extra guitars and fx. Stix must be playing to a clip on the in-ears

Obviously they have vocals and keys on backing tracks...but I saw them live and the rest of the band was live. Video edits and audio can't always match....and I don't doubt they did some touch ups in the studio after. Regardless they are a great live act...must see
