I've never had ANC in headphones before. I was blown away by how quiet my room became when I turned it one. Overall these headphones are absolutely phenomenal!

This would be my main reason for changing to this headset. Curiously, I imagine that it's hard to comment on since you haven't used other headsets or earbuds with ANC, but how much noise would you say they cut for you? Ex. someone would have to tap you on the shoulder because you couldn't heart them asking you a question... going to a busy cafe would have the noise cut by half... etc. ?? I have pretty good ANC earbuds which when you turn them on outside it is almost tough to even hear the noises of cars passing by, so I am curious how good the ANC in this is.

@@InJJWeTrustOfficial The ANC "works" i guess. You can hear stuff like your PC fans a little less, but you pretty much still hear everything. I just got this headset today and was looking at how to turn on the ANC just to notice, that i was actually already turned on, that is how little difference it actually makes.

The ANC is much worse than my AirPods Pro. It's awful. The sound quality is like a cheap $20 Walmart headset. The only good thing is that it can play from two devices at once.

@@InJJWeTrustOfficial The ANC was above average before 2023 revision, but they changed design and now ANC is almost nonexistent. IF you have good returns policy you can try for yourself and send back, if not, look for other ANC headsets.

Can the ANC be enabled/disabled on the headset directly? like if you're travelling and using the Bluetooth

Just got one this week and yes, it can. Just tap the power button.

You know the mic noise canceling works relative to your voice. So you need to keep talking to do the correct filtering the noise, otherwise it will try to pick up the sound which is further away 6:44 You notice that once he stops talking and the typing sounds are getting louder.

What a great and helpful review. One of the only ones that actually does a sound leakage test. Other youtubers don't even respond to questions about sound leakage. Wish you could review the Turtle Beach Atlas Air. Anyway, new subscriber due to how helpful this video was.

I was happy with the A40 Astro so I’m sure I’ll love this one when it gets here Saturday, we’ll see how long SS last, I still have my Astro for 6 years works like new

Thanks for watching, they are pretty loud considering they have 40mm drivers, I have the gain set to high on the base station, loudness wasn't really an issue for me the lack of lows in MW3 was a bit disappointing, but that could just be a PC issue with Call of duty

Just got these but getting horrible crackling noise on the mics. Tried different steps to resolve it like restarting, switching usb ports, etc. but doesnt work.

You probably already fixed it. But for anyone reading this. You have to turn OFF Mic Sidetone.

Good headphones except for the microphone, I had the Arctis 9 before and the mic didn't pick up my keyboard at all while gaming, the mic on the Pro picks up everything, and yes sidetone is off, very disappointed.

there is no difference between mic out or inside. this is disappointing. extented it shouldnt pick up any other sounds except for ones own voice. not a good choice for teams or zoom or phone calls. sucks.

for that price, the mic is just straight up ass, sadly. i genuinely had a better mic in a cheapo 20 dollar gaming headset... everything else is nice and makes me want to get it, but the mic...? yikes. not for roughly 300 bucks lmao

fully agree, great features all around but the mic quality is just terrible. I heard using the dedicated software on pc can enhance this but being primarily a console player there is no way to make the mic sound any better which is disappointing.
