The multi-functional steel comb really has two specialties. Detangling and general shape styling, and then parting along with any flyway cleanup. The ascending pattern for the fine tooth side leaves room to use this as a general styler if that is needed. The comb stands alone as a complete tool that can still pull of almost any hairstyle, but for sure modern hairstyles except for the faded perm.
Steeltooth combs are designed for thick hair. They are anti-static which reduces frizz and makes styling a much easier and less redundant process. They are compatible with oil based pomades, matte pastes, clays, and water based products.
This comb comes with a bottle opener as well. At 6 inches in length its not the most portable comb but it's 2 inches shorter than its predecessor. It does fit in most denim jean pockets however, so if you style on the go you will be able to do that.
