so if you are subject to random drug tests, maybe if you just smoked on a random basis, the two schedules would never coincide and you'd... No, never mind that wouldn't work, esp if they do hair follicle testing. lol. JK. Sorry you have to wait, but unless you work in a job like trucking, the defense industry, etc. that is subject to federal monitoring the law might could change where you live before you retire. hang in there, bro, you can do this! Steely Dan and Donald Fagon had to be in the top five greatest band of all time. Extraordinary Talent musicians and I just think how lucky we all were to be young when this stuff was on the radios How extremely Thankful I feel to have lived while his music started becoming famous. You guys have one of the top ten greatest artists of all time. So be grateful and proud because you deserve more than you can know. I wish I was going to his concert this year I think in New York but can’t afford but someday I will finally see these guys. Exstreamly talent men.

No doubt the 1980's had great music, but the song hardly symbolized that decade. Drug use and drinking were hallmarks of the boomer generation of the 1960's, not the 1980's.

Expose them to it. I exposed my children to good music from all eras and to this day they have an eclectic musical taste. If you look at their playlist you'll see everything from rap and hip hop to classic rock and blues and everything in between. You have to be willing to actually listen to stuff they like with an open mind as well.

In 1978, I was 28, my date, 21 and that one line, "the Cuervo Gold and fine Columbian, make tonight a wonderful thing" oh my, SOOO TRUE!. The night, and morning too, then repeat. What a weekend. Oh, we married in 81. I'm 69 now, not such a wonderful thing but maybe a miraculous thing....you know, considering those 60s and 70s in L.A. 😁
