Once again a great reaction to a great tune. I was in high school when this record dropped. It was a mind expanding experience the first time I played it. They actually cover a legendary Duke Ellington song, "East St. Louis Toodle-Oo". It would be cool to get to see you do like a back-to-back reaction of one of Duke's versions and the Steely Dan cover. Thank you guys!! I was so happy to see you were going to react to this song, one of my all-time favourites, in any genre. I first heard this song, I'm sure it was a cover, in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada in 1977 when I was 19. Maybe I was 18 and it was 1976. Not sure. Anyways, this was the song and I was enthralled because I'd never heard something so groovy or funky before. It's the only thing I remember that night and you can take that any way you want to. Lol So, as these weird and synchronistic events go, here I am in 2023, almost 50 years later, watching you two just get hooked. I understand why. As usual, you've given me another gem of a reaction. Keep it coming!! Peace.
