Got the same puzzled feeling like "all this upclimb to freak in each turn and then downclimb? ". I realize I see the point as long as the way down differs from the way up or if it is "obviously" enjoyable as a route or the view. Too scary to me but KJ and others enjoy such an exposed steep ski because it's where the challenge remain to them... Personnally I would have been down the glacier or any "easy" route... Enjoyment of pure exposure is something I get in running but not in ski because I'm just not that confident !

It is not any point at solo climbing, steep skiing, mountaineering... On reason, all those are non really reasonable activities except for the one who does because he or she feels something inside that makes that point ;)

Deeply subjective indeed ! My guess is that personnal ski evolve a lot before before the "point" get as big as stepping up to that ! Really no challenge drive in this one Kilian ? I ask because I no clue to compare to your "fine lines" videos in Mt blc... So inspiring anyway, reminds me of the few times I felt like "I cannot miss this turn"
