Wonderful Fabrication Work! Unusual ideas as to the posture of stacking the vehicles - but great idea just the same! I know it accomplishes a few things like length of trailer, weight distribution. Well done!!

They paint sailboats with some kind of product that has grit added for antislip, wet feet on paint or gelcoat is pretty slippery. Looking good!

Perhaps if you were to use a couple of air cylinders (since you already have air for the trailer), you could tilt the crawler forward and backward without being in a danger zone. The other thing you could do is put your pivot point on a fixed rail so that you can move it forward and backward six to nine inches (enough space fore and aft to compensate for tongue weight).

This is an incredibly interesting build Zach. Definitely think outside the box with how to maximize space on the trailer. And it’s still a single axle! But looks to be a very heavy one

I used to pull a fifty three foot box trailer for behind my semi., it did not like tight docks or hard entry to some freeways. I used a Saginaw system on my two rear axles on that trailer an even though it did not turn a lot, a little goes a long ways. It did make that trailer a bit heavy because of the style axles I used but just having a inch operated from pressure on the steer axle of the truck was enough to keep it from cheating on any normal corner. Another guy had told me he would help to develop a system for me an we split profits but instead he got a pending patent an buried it. For the time invested tho, it worked well out on the freeway

Why didn't you get in and run the winch from the seat? That would have tested your pucker factor. The big problem I see is, what happens if the crawler stops running (broken) and can't drive itself on the trailer?

I did. Its a great product but it comes out smother than most. I may try it with some kind of sand mixed in or southing.

@@TheZachLife check out the deck coating that SV Seeker used on the topside of his boat. Stuff was 36 grit type rough and 1/8" thick. Great stuff.

What is the height with the rock crawler on the trailer ? Are you shooting for 10% on the tongue ? Don't know what was applied to the decks of aircraft carriers but it afforded alot of traction.

Its about 13'4" Yeah 10% or so.

with the angel of it will it cause problems with the gas ,oil or transmission fluid?

I think it's going to be ok. I wasn't sure about the engine oil but the transmission and transfer case have vents that turn to the back and it runs on propane.
