Just for everyone to remember that Jongho is dancing less because his parts of singing are so much more demanding and difficult but his dance skills are insane too. I'm happy about the members who were pointed out for being wonderful dancers in this video. I'm honestly so happy to see this as an atiny. Ateez is the best example of performers. Everyone in kpop and i believe every kpop idol knows how to dance but you rarely see someone be the epitome of a performer. That's what sets ateez apart. Mingi and Yunho are the evidence of a tall person can be a very very good dancer. San Hongjoong and Seonghwa knows how to incorporate facial expressions with dance and Jongho, Wooyoung and Yeosang are the detailed and clean especially on footworks. They are the complete package and you can put each of them to different groups and they would still stand out individually💙

Omg, yes!!! Thank u Steezy and Anze for this. Ateez are amazing. A lot of people thought they were a dance crew due to their KQ Fellaz dance performance videos when they were trainees. Ngl, I did too but immediately went to look them up after watching those performance vids and found they were actually a kpop group waiting to debut. Let me say the expressions and attitude they gave in those KQ Fellaz videos made me decide to support them without having heard their vocals. I just knew that a team that was good telling a story with their body and expressions had to be killer artists and they are. Ateez aren't just strong in dancing, they have the vocals and rap to match. They're the only reason I'm still in kpop.

4:56 this! ateez in general put a lot of effort into their facial expressions and they really go for it. if it's a powerful performance they go all out, if it's supposed to be scary they will look scary. they've said themselves that they're not worried about looking "pretty" all the time, they try to make facial expressions that will match the song/concept. their performances often have kind of a "theatrical" feel, if you will. i wish more groups in kpop would do this as well. there's tons of talented dancers and performers in kpop but a lot of times like you said they put a lot of focus in looking good and not so much on their facial expressions.

Ah, I love this break down! It calls out soooo many of the elements that I have always found so satisfying about both of these dances but didn't have the dance vocabulary to talk about. Ateez has excelled from rip with the facial expression and attention to character and hearing someone who choreographed these dances for them call that out is a real treat. It was such a treat to hear some behind the scenes from Anze himself about the choreography of these iconic ATEEZ dances! Getting this level of detail about certain moves really made me, as a non-dancer, closely watch and appreciate anew how amazing these choreos are and what incredible justice a group like ATEEZ (who is so next-level with dancing skill/technique and overall performance power) is able to do with such great choreo.
