Stephen does make a point in bringing up the chips in Luke/Laura's marriage at that time. Too bad the writers worked so hard to bring these two together just to break them apart with a weak character defamation for Stephen.

He really does love her and he's right about Luke now don't get me wrong I love Luke but Luke while perfect for a young Laura is not perfect for this laurashe's a mother of two now and when they first got together there were no children and the cassadines weren't even a thought until the whole ice princess thing and freezing of Port Charles
