Stefan and Elena were so beautiful, and it's so easy to see that, I hate the fact that they broke them up because more fans wanted do see Delena, but anyway, I think of Stelena as like the first love, they were crazy about each other and were an epic love, but as I got to know Caroline, I saw that she cared so much for Stefan, and was loyal to him in every way possible. I started to think that Caroline deserved much more and so did Stefan, so Steroline grew on me, and how their story developed was also very inspiring. Stefan won´t love Caroline the same way he loved Elena, but I do believe that he will love her differently because they are different together and went through different situations. That´s just my point of view :)

People say that Stefan deserves better than Elena because she is torned between him and Damon but do remember everything Elena did for Stefan. It's not always Stefan doing something for Elena. Remember when Stefan drank human blood again for the first time and he lost control and wanted to end his life? Elena helped him through that, if it wasn't for her, Stefan might've been dead. But because of her, he’s still here. And the way he looks at her. He never looked at Caroline the way he looked at Elena. The chemistry and love between the two is deemed powerful and true.

It was so painful to watch Caroline wait for Stefan. She never waited for anyone else like that. It was so satisfying to watch Stefan fight for Caroline, he didn't practically fight for even Elena. It was heart breaking when Stefan dies and Caroline is left alone. But it makes sense. Stefan's death gives the series a perfect ending (a tragic ending).

He did fight for Elena season 3 and 4 he was trying to convince her that picking Damon was a mistake. But he respected her choice. He fought with Damon trying to prove to him she didn't love him. He was hurt for a whole other season bcs she finally picked Damon and only Damon. Whereas Caroline didn't really have anyone else. Rick only "wanted" her bcs she was having his twins so he "fell" for her bcs of the time they spend together. But she didn't. He had to fight for her by fighting her. Not someone else for her. She always wanted Stefan. All because she was hurt. So yeah it was painful to watch Caroline wait. He literally had to be told by everyone to give her a chance. That they had too. Just because they were best friends. I wished Caroline had an epic love at the end. She just stayed alone.

Elena for Stefan over Caroline. Even though neither of them had an obligation to Stefan. Elena stood by Stefan through his no humanity phase. Klaus compelled Stefan to feed on Elena and Stefan fought against that compulsion so Klaus made him turn it off. So Elena did everything she could to help him get it back. Stefan took the deal with Cade to save Caroline’s children which he thought would be done easier and faster if he turned it off but yet Caroline told him to stay away from her?? He was in that situation to save her children but she couldn’t fight for her like Elena fought for Stefan? Caroline and Stefan were better off as friends, there whole relationship was forced. To me personally Stefan wasn’t that interested in her like that but he loved her as a sister/best friend, and to me putting Caroline and Stefan together ruined there friendship.

How stefan realised that what he had with caroline,had become more than friendship without him realising it.. @@all_bangtan Sorry, but they were forced. They didn't work on any level. They had no chemistry, terrible communication skills (which is why they were constantly having the same fights), they could never stay on the same page for long, Caroline was constantly wanting Stefan to give her the same trust and respect he gave Elena while Stefan just stands there like "I don't know what to say." It's not a function relationship but rather then acknowledge that, the writers dug their heels and kept pushing the ship anyway. That's forced. As for Elena not love him much after S2. You can feel however you want, but I disagree. S3 shows Elena spending MONTHS trying to find Stefan, facing off against werewolves, risking being caught by Klaus, constantly encouraging Stefan not to give up, trying to help Lexi bring his humanity, all to help. Even seeing him at his absolute worst didn't deter her from her desire to save the man she loves. I may not like how the show degraded her character as the show went on, but S1-3 Elena was hardcore, ride or die for Stefan. And he was the same for her. That's why I prefer them.

This is absolutely stunning, it's exactly how I felt about the whole situation. I always felt as though Stefan could never truly be in love with Caroline because he will always be in love with Elena. I don't doubt that he did love Caroline but not in the same way; He was completely infatuated by Elena and (metaphorically) worship the ground she walked on. where as I've always seen Caroline as more of a soulmate to him, But not the love of his life. He even said himself "you and me Caroline it's never gonna happen" in the very beginning. He also said that she reminded him of his best friend Lexi, yet he was quite clear on the fact that he was never in love with Lexi and they was never like that. Caroline was there for Stefan at the time when he needed it the most just like he was there for Elena at the time when she needed him the most. But Elena was always meant to be with Damon and Stefan was always meant to be with the Elena. Personally I believe the only person that could truly make Caroline happy and give her a love that will consume her is Klaus - as he quite literally went against every single thing that he believed in, and every impulse that he had to love her, and even when she refused that love he never gave up, after all he said it to her himself that "[Tyler] may be your first love but I intend to be your last"

I think Stefan loved about Elena that she looked like Katherine. Caroline loved that she was just one of a kind and being herself. He simply saw Katherine Pierce in elena, while in Caroline he saw the love of his life.

Damon ama mais a Elena do que o Stefan, isso é óbvio, mas o Stefan e a Elena são almas gêmeas. Damon compeliu a Elena quando se conheceram para ela ter tudo o que ela queria, e ele da isso a ela dês do início, da a ela mais do que o Stefan deu. Damon respira pela Elena, o Stefan respira junto com ela. Caroline ama o Stefan, mas quem deu tudo o que ela queria foi o Tyler, o Stefan pra ela, é o que ela acha que merece depois de tantos ex, mas o Stefan vai ser sempre apaixonado pela Elena, assim como ela amará ele para sempre.

I’m sorry I love delena and steroline was kinda cute BUT stelena was epic. Stefan never loved Caroline as much as Elena and never would have. He just has so much more chemistry with Elena and I don’t think he could ever love anyone like he loved her.
