The only force Elena ever felt was when the sirebond kicked in or when Damon compelled her for the millionth time. Stefan and Elena always had their free will around each other and they will find their way back together, I just know they will.

Chantara27 You're so right. Because she also said "Stefan and I were married and we had children and we had everything WE wanted". I loved that, because Damon has told her more than once that he DOESN'T want all of those things. The only thing they (Damon and Elena) have in common is sex. Stefan is Elena's soulmate and they'll realize that in season six, there is no other way. Those two connect in each and every single way.
