Omg this video was beautiful! And I don't even have to be a Stelena shipper to acknowledge that "Exile" is perfect for them. You showed perfectly how they slowly fell apart and matched the lyrics in an amazing way! You did a great job! I’m usually a Steferine shipper but when it comes to Elena and the Salvatore brothers, I’m team Stelena all the way. This song makes me cry every time I hear it (even though I love it, it’s beautiful) because it reminds me of my ex. He’s still the love of my life and when Stefan is telling Elena @ 3:38 “We grew apart”… my heart stopped for a second because that’s exactly what my ex told me before we stopped talking … “I’d ask that we *grow apart* “ This hurts. I relate to Stefan and his pain so much. “After everything we’ve been through…” “No.” “How many ways are there for you to rip my heart out?!” Human Elena was better.
