Ok so a lot of people are asking about the ending of this film. *Spoilers* Let me clarify that ALTHOUGH in the end, we see her pregnant back in London safely and him in a Berlin office with bombs and planes heard in the background, it is still considered an open ending - nothing is truly implied that he dies. The BOOK, however, is much different from the film overall. The ending of the book goes like this: Kaiser dies, Brandt helps her escape by putting her in a truck with the dead Kaiser off to the morgue or whatever while the SS officers investigate the house. In the book, he never goes off to the forest with her to say goodbye, or asks to marry her or even has a last kiss. All that was created for the film for a more cohesive and romantic ending. I recommend reading the book if you really love this movie, but I will say the film is far better - the love story is much more predominant and pieces the story together well.

I know this guy... well technically i dont but i constantly see him in the hallways in my school. He looks exactly like eric. I get the vibes from him and we’ll make quick eye contact but then he’d walk away or i would. Today i was going down the same hallway at the end of school to see my best friend so we could leave off the right wing exit. codzydee im too shy to i mean i would love to dont get me wrong but i recently havent seen him around much and i feel kind of hurt and sad but i also have a boyfriend atm and i cant do that you know? But with him its like when i see him i feel anxious and nervous and excited and with my boyfriend i feel safe and loved and its really hard but im not falling for the other guy i guess its a minor crush but something pulls me towards him and idk what its like my curiosity is telling me “speak to him” but when i went to Walgreens i saw him with another girl in his car so idk i believe she might be his girlfriend... itd be hard on my boyfriend if i left him even tho id still have feelings im just in a very conflicted moment atm
