A rare Katerina Maleeva match on TV. Delightful that 3 sisters were quite successful on the pro tour!

They never did much , Grand Slam wide Especially Maggie , who was probably the most talented Never reached one Slam Quarterfinal Katerina was solid but very mechanical and one dimensional Fragniere was good

@@kdohertygizbur Maggie definitely the most capable of the three with more all-court ability. Weird that she never went deep at a single slam. US Open QF once? Even Manuela only got to two slam semis, once after beating her sister in a QF. Manuela had the most success overall. Katerina was neither as consistent as Manuela, nor did anything better and, as you say, quite predictable and limited. She had a great 1990 and rose to 6th, but she was mostly a top-15/top-20 player between 1987-1992.

I’d say three sisters being top 6 in the world in their field is a bit more than quite successful.

@@lightlandskyKaterina started to falter and drop out of the top 15 after her R1 loss to Zvereva at Wimbledon 1993 where she was seeded. It was a slow and steady decline from that point aside from some nice results in 1994. By 1996 she was in qualifies and doing ITFs. She did reach 7 GS QF with 11 titles singles titles to her name and also reached the US Open doubles final with Robin White; cutting through some very good double pairings on the way.
