First time they played; then in 1996, their scintillating first round contest in the US Open included a thriller of a second set. And in the post=match on-court interview, Graf acknowledged how talented Yayuk is.

Yayuk had incredible hands. Her problem seemed to be she would often get tight at key moments and make a lot of unforced errors. Otherwise, she had ton a raw talent.

I remember watching that match live. A night match. I loved Basukis game.

you can see how brilliant Graf is on an outside court more so, it's more raw, i bet she did not mind, unlike the idiots of today, women's tennis is useless now compared to this, Graf's forehand is devastating

I agree about her forehand but please do not overlook her backhand-easily the most underrated shot in tennis back when she was active.

0:13 is it even possible to strike and place a backhand more beautifully than Graf does to end this point?

Seandainya yayuk masuk profesional sekitar umur 15 atau 16 tahun mungkin yayuk menjadi petenis top 10 atau 5 besar dunia. 😊

This Wimbledon was almost a complete washout the first week, probably desperate to get the matches played, they had to have play on the middle Sunday for the first time
