I lost my hair in 2013, and it growing out was fun! had many style and always looked edgy....What I want to suggest; remember to hold a certain style you have to see hairdresser at least every 3 weeks, so it can get expensive. Btw you looks marvelous!

Awesome! I recently chopped my long hair off for a short pixie with long bangs, best decision I ever made. As I got older my hair was thinning from always wearing it in a pony tail, and I was tired OF wearing a pony tail because I never liked my hair long. lol You are so adorable with your cut! I wish more women felt comfortable experiencing the freedom of short hair. The amount of compliments and "I wish I could do that" comments are crazy! :)

Same! I'm a boy and I have hair that's just a bit above my shoulders and I have bangs and I sort of want to get something like this, but I'm not sure how it'd look or how well the stylist would do on it because usually she doesn't listen to what I want and does what she wants.

Best thing I did was to use a virtual makeover with my face and try on different pixie hairstyles to see what was most flattering. Like trying on virtual wigs. Good luck!

I'm planning to cut my hair like this for a long time now! How did it feel while your hairdresser was actually cutting your hair? Like how did you feel in the actual process? I usually love my cuts afterwards, but it's the process when I hate it.

+underthestarszx Sorry I haven't responded sooner... I asked my stylist not to use the clippers because I thought that they would freak me out, but now she uses them for most of my cuts since they're quick and keep the back even. Otherwise, it's not that different from a regular trim on long hair. She touched my head more often since the hair was being cut closer to the scalp, but it wasn't strange or uncomfortable. The whole experience was much easier to adjust to than I had expected. Good luck with all your future hair adventures!

+DomBarber Thanks for the compliment. My husband was filming on a Canon PowerShot camera plus a Flip camera mounted on a tripod. We're not exactly experienced with this sort of thing. I probably will not upload more footage in real time because the haircut took almost two hours, but I was hoping to make another video soon of a great color/cut update. It's been short for over a year now and I really enjoy it. I will keep it short until I can come up with a good reason not to. :)
