Seeing Stephi transition from powerlifting to boxing is an impressive feet of athleticism. Seeing Stephi cry at the end of the fight was an impressive sign of humility and self confidence. It just shows that for even people that some of us might look up to, life isn’t always a hype train and glamour shots.

it appeared to me that steph was resting during the fight. I did not see her taking an active roll till third round maybe(stepping tpwards the opponent and actually land some punches- but I wanted to see 2 hits and only saw one- maybe not as conditioned as she porported to be. maybe it was the technique to have the opponent get more fatigued by stepping towards her. maybe due to her lack of activity that she got a draw.

I viewed this whole production as a fan, and looked forward to the actual fight to see Stefi triumph... But then it became quite clear; the other boxer was a natural fighter while Stefi's body was going through the motions. The other fighter even dropped her guard and took casual swipes at Stefi without fear of being hit back. Stefi should stay with strength activities where she excels!

Haha the amount of people in these comments who are suddenly pro boxers telling Stefi what to do or that she should give up it’s crazy. Why is it so hard for society to accept a woman being successful across a variety of sports. Stefi has only just started boxing obviously she can only get better. She didn’t win powerlifting records the 2nd time she picked up a bar. Some of these comments make me feel sorry for how you must approach your lives 😅 Great videos always love watching the process and the mindset 💪🏻☺️

@yagsipcc2873 жыл бұрын
Just because someone can move alot of weight doesnt mean they have power, also you dont want to be throwing power alot it tires you the hell out even more so when in an actual fight. Biggest guy I fought in a Kickboxing tournament (we would have one round so a win, lose or draw, there could be only three others that day or there could be 12 others that is the nature of tournaments) He weighted in a 117kg he was a powerlifter but had some good skills, I weighted in at 82kg (the highest weight category was 80kg plus...) We went to a draw. You need to relax your body in a fight if you are tight all the time you are much slower, he hit decently hard but I had hard sparring with guys who weighted less than me who werent powerlifters or anything like that who hit way... harder.

The way some of the comments were going it sounded like you lost the fight. But you didn't; it was a draw. Your opponent looked like a skilled fighter & likely had way more experience than you, yet you remained composed and aware during the fight, and you stuck her with some really good shots. I don't think your power was on display here,probably because you are concentrating on technique (which looked pretty impressive). But when you're at that point where technique is second nature muscle memory, the physical power that allows you to outlift 96% of the humans on this planet is going to explode, and you will do just what you said- start knockin people the fuck out🤜💪💯💪🤛 *Also I commend you for having the courage to show your anxiety, your emotion, your tears. That's the mark of an exceptional champion. 🏋️🤜🤛
