As a sweaty steg main, A tip to fighting small things that bait your hits: be as unpredictable as possible, but the only consistent thing you need to do is use the left side of your tail attack, it hits earlier, ptecise move backwards so they get stuck on you and get a free tail slap to heaven Also, the +10% armor hide is VERY helpful, you just need to watch your stam, but you get used to it over time

Stego ain't easy to bear at all if the Stego player is decent, they are the first ones knowing which weak spots they have. Plus, you all should start enter into the mindset that not every dino can kill every dino. Smh

I disagree an experienced stego player who knows how to engage can beat any dino. Cycle in and out of sprint. Bate hit. Swing with normal attack only. Higher dpm. Always face your tail bate in pull back swing. It's about stamina management and cycling in and out. Pure face tanking obviously results in death but cycling in and out. Its a time game buffed stego slaps. Your goal as the attacker is too not let the stego control the engagement. The longer the fight the more of an advantage the stego has. As an experienced stego player once you control the engagement its over. Let the bleed do its job

It's simple, precise move backwards so people who are baiting your hits get stuck in your huge THICC dumpy hitbox, I've brought down actual good players using this.
