This was great to watch. I think I’m sort of intermittent level as stego, and looks like the tier list checks out to me. A lot of the EZ PZ tier are a cake walk on their own but once there’s two (and if they’ve got status effects, it’s bigger trouble. Keep up the good work dude!

Just remember, if you lose a battle. Don't let emotions cloud the learning experience! If you're on console record the last few minutes and examine what you did wrong so that the next time you are aware of maybe a bad habit or you will be more conscious of using terrain to your advantage!

I finally got my steg to sub adult and let me say BOY! ITS SO NICE NOT HAVING TO HIDE!. I had 3 iguanas full grown chase me down. I killed one, had all 3 low, if i seen this video before i might have won that fight. Def best dino to use if youre passive but want to carry a big stick just in case

11:02 You can block random invites from the settings menu if you enable "only accept invites from friends", obviously doesn't block _friends_ but it can help if those ones are truly random invites! Just got to remember to turn it back off if you want random invites again.

Usually on my metri, to venom a stego, i bait an attack with claw, when they swing, between their swings i use my venom.

Interesting.. although you made some valid points about solar powered i believe its well worth it if you're kiting enemys instead of taking a defensive stance because you're more likely to die in that state sense you're stagnant IMO either way great video!

I just want to point out, solar powered still works during rain. I've also found it that stam regen to be far more useful than the armor hide. I usually just switch hides at sunset though, instead of keeping the same hide on at all times

It was dark when it was raining so i didn't even think about daytime rain haha. But swapping back and forth is a bad idea as big groups tend to camp near homecaves.

The smallest tier dino's i don't plan to make videos for as they aren't effective unless you have a large party but alberta can be covered again in the future. I have a few video's out on alberta already! They are older and stats have changed but if you love alberta you may like them.

I managed to beat 2 rexes back to back but one skilled Yuty, baited my tail swings, and since the tail swing has a 1.5 second cool down, there was enough time to bite me on the tail and he did that constantly and managed to get me very low, we both died because I jumped off a small ledge to smack him, and the attack hit, he died, but I died from fall damage. I have never been more proud to say gg in global before.

As someone who’s plays a lot of solo Stego I’d put the Spino a tier lower I play defense stego and I’ve 1v2 many spoons. Their too slow to properly run you down and hang up on you as long as you properly distance yourself and keep them on your tail

Sounds like you main stego and you might be playing people who don't main spino. Tier list assumes both players are of equal skill level.

@@KenTheGent while that might be true I’ve played at least 6 sets of 2 spinos as a solo stego and have only had an issue once while that also comes from me being experienced I just think spoons speed in general leads it to have a tough time running down a stego

I mostly play solo and when i get attacked i panic alot cause i know more of them will come i plan on growing stego so thx for the vid

Make a check list in your head for when you see enemies, think ( Terrain + Water + object to put your back to or front if on stego) sometimes death is avoidable just by putting yourself in the correct position. and playing every dino will help to remember the strengths and weaknesses

Fast dinos are the best for solo players i think. I started with a balanced camptosaur and now i main a speed latenivenatrix and you just dont die as long as your are careful. Granted crocodiles can always one shot you. But only the alioramus can catch thoose dinos with any consistency. And as long as you keep a good distance from them they cant catch you because you have more stam. Obviously growing up is still a problem because all juvies and adols are slow. But once you grow to sub adult almost nothing in the game can catch you.

Any advice to avoid the t rex's bone-breaking attack? It's an attack so fast that I don't even have time to get away, one attack and it's all over.

Maintain distance and listen for the audio que for it. After a rex tries a bonebreak they have a cooldown!

I have a video out showing me fighting 3 ano's solo with a rex before the update. It's not edited, just raw gameplay. But since the update the Ano is easier than ever.

@@dawell19th88 use your tail while its in crouched, you have longer range and can deal tiny amounts of damage preventing it from healing. Eventually it will move.

Bleed is more damage over time. Attack is more damage up front. Both are viable but have different play styles!

Majority of my content is from official servers but its not possible to put out 1 video a week minimum without using a deathmatch server. This was recorded on Juniper Deathmatch arena and the reason behind that specific one is alot of higher skilled players hangout there and the stats are a mirror of official. That being said it makes for a great practice arena to familiarize yourself with any dino at no cost.

Typically with official its whoever has more players wins, since I run solo 95% of the time I usually just get dogpiled to death so there really isnt a huge expression of skill on officials. Most players I fight 1v1 on official arent the best, maybe I need to start hitting up deathmatch servers instead.

I can only answer this with an example. I once saved a styra from 2 cera's using my pachy. After the cera's ran i sat beside him and he killed my pachy. Trust NO ONE

Any reason for the balance over defense? Not sure if there's ANY dinosaurs you become faster than with the increased speed, but the armor from defense will stack with the armor from shielding. Were there scenarios where the defenses speed messed you up in some way?

I found the -5% speed from choosing defense instead of balanced made a big difference fighting the apexs. Especially if they are in a group and you arent. I got caught in more bonebreaks using defense than balanced and the EO was landing more body shots when i was defense making it overall harder to fight them. - Edited note ( When in a group that green buff increases speed and stamina recovery)

I'll give balance a go since I'm a solo player and if the speed does help against groups, I'm all for it, just figured it was always slow so why not make it slower haha Thank you for the prompt and thorough response!

@articdialationcold3913 the squishyness of the speed vs the other 2. If you get hit with the fast bonebreak you can survive as balanced or defense but on a speed that's typically death. You shouldn't let a rex get close enough to run you out of stamina until you're experienced enough with the stego and area.
