I like you put the laser closer to bore. Most lasers are on the bottom of the light which increases height over bore effect.

What is the point in not having momentary on? Or toggling between having the light come on first? At night wouldn't it make more sense to have the light on first? You can't identify the target with a laser.

This is designed to be mounted on pistols however there is a version for rifles called the SBAL-RL
