So this is MY THEORY about the story: These monoliths are coming to rescue some of the planet's fauna/flora before the planet dies due to a STELLAR explosion (as seen on the last minute). Like an alien race compiling and sorting DNA inside a huge mother-ship, before moving on to another planet in iminent danger due to a similar STELLAR fate. It is almost like the monoliths were showing images of species they STILL NEEDED to collect DNA as she progressed, culminating in her own monolith glyph in the end, suggesting the human DNA was the last to be stored. The final scene shows the next planet bound to disappear, and a monolith already advertising the need for a HERO to come and do it all over again, in a cycle. Something like "Come on, we need the DNA of the bravest among you. Come and represent your race among our genetic pool database."

Almost but wrong. If you find all collectibles, the story is reveled. You are like an angel of death and you are exploring a dying planet to write and preserve the history in a giant library. That's it.

i love the way they incorporated the music with the arrow volleys, and these sidescroller indi games are so interesting. the story is always open to interpretation and leaves you with thoughts of meaning. i prefer these over mainstream stuff anyday.

So, hey, 20:16, who (or what) exactly was that? And for what specific reason did ‘it’ bring her to the dungeon? Was it a rescue…or a sacrifice attempt?

Later in the story, you end up seeing similar figures around the endgame monastery. It's never specified, but I'd assume based on the lore given from the collectibles it was 1 of 2 things: It could've been a worshiper of the creature seen later in the temple, though this isn't as likely as the other possibility. It was more likely that it was one of the people who had prepared for Stela to come to observe and record the history of the world before its end. However, this meant that the person couldn't directly interfere with much other than simply preventing her from dying as it would interrupt her observation of the world. (In case this doesn't make much sense, it's given in the lore as well that Stela is an 'angel of death' of sorts. She repeatedly goes from world to world to record histories and place them in what is basically a giant library/database.)

21:39 I’m stuck here because the character won’t grab the lever. I’m playing on the phone, but I’ve never had any issues grabbing stuff in the game earlier. I’m clearly pressing and holding down on the lever and my character is definitely standing close enough. I’ve even tried restarting the game but nothing works.

I'm just playing through, and I exited the snow section. So it cut to the next scene at 46:45, except she's not there. Even if I reload at that point, it just shows the entrance of that section, and she's not there, so I can't progress. I even tried finishing the previous section again, but she just never appears in the next section. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't want to restart, but I don't know what else to do. I don't even know that it wouldn't happen again if I did restart. This sucks!
