why the writers broke elena and stefan up, i'll never know. they had made their bond feel *unbreakable* and just making elena fall in love with damon made delena's love feel surreal. when i see a delena scene, i feel nothing but sorrow for stefan; elena tore him apart and he never stopped loving her, he did everything for her, even when she was stuck in the link with bonnie.

They destroyed Stelena because Nina Dobrev left the show. In the books she and Stefan get back together and are endgame, but since she left, they didn’t get the chance to do that

I know that the writers and even Nina wanted elena and stefan to be endgame but they had no time to build up their r/s again bc nina only came back for one episode so they made her end up with damon and that made me so sad T.T Julie shouldnt have ruined them in s5 & s6!!
