On the 10th of May 2023,I woke up at dawn with an intense feeling of being surrounded by angels. It was a strange feeling as though God had encamped me from danger, eventhough I couldn't fathom any imminent danger at the time. At the same I felt anguished within my spirit but I just could not point out exactly why that sadness had come over me. I proceeded however to have my devotional which spoke about how Jacob wrestled with God and God changed his name to Israel. I said to myself ' I will also wrestle with God then since my heart is filled with sorrow'. I began to play music to worship God but instead of worshipping, I found myself crying profusely which was unusual. Out of nowhere,Stella Dugan's song Gyeme Tata enters my spirit especially the beginning verse that translates as 'When I look ahead ,then to my left, right and behind, I find no helper; my help only comes from the Lord. I went back to bed after praying. Fast forward into my day, I visited a friend whom I had promised to see. After having lunch together, this friend prayed very powerful prayers over my life and I left for home. I decided to use the Tema motorway en route home. Whiles driving, I was sandwiched among three trailer vehicles. One to my left and the others ahead and behind me. I didn't think much of it until the trailer to my left started approaching my car at top speed; literally chasing me. I got confused and agitated as to why he would do that. I was still hoping to avoid any casualty, unfortunately I was sandwiched by other trailers all around me and didn't even know how to escape the impending accident. It was just like Stella Dugan's song that dropped in my spirit earlier in the morning meant: truly I felt surrounded with no other way of escaping except by divine intervention. Before I knew it, the trailer that was fast approaching me had hit me from behind causing my car to spin on the road. I held on to my steering wheel tightly trying to maintain balance on the road because I knew if my car skidded off the into the ditch across the shoulder of the road, I wouldn't make it alive. I began driving in a zigzag manner in between these trailers. After my car span erratically on the road, the car literally flew off the road, landing on high impact into the ditch beside the road. At that point I knew it was all over for me. All my air bags came out and I began screaming for help. The ditch was filled with stamps of freshly cut neem trees. This I believe was all part of God's divine intervention. I could not imagine what could have happened if those nim trees were still standing tall. Passers by rushed to the car and they kept screaming ,'she's alive!,she's alive!'. I could tell from their voices and faces how surprised they were to see me alive and unscathed! They kept asking. " Young lady, which God do you serve?!". After witnessing how my car flew off the road indeed, we all knew that this could only be a miracle. It was as if God had just carried my car off the road and planted it on 'solid ground'. I got out of my car and confronted the truck driver on why he hit me, and he said he didn't see my car until after he had hit me and that was why he was speeding into my lane. I went to the hospital and the doctors cleared me of no injury! It was then it dawned on me how Stella Dugan's song had personified itself in my life. The song was exactly all that I had just encountered and just as it said, God eventually took me home safely in spite of all the turmoils. Brethen, this is a testimony to encourage us that God always protects his own, and the steps of the righteous are directed by God. Psalm 91 :10-12 says' no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' This scripture has never been more alive than on this faithful day. I could feel God bubble me up in His ever loving kindness. The enemy tried, but MERCY SAID NO! I am grateful to God, and I pray that as He delivered me, May you also be delivered from any hopeless situation you ever encounter in your journey of life God bless us all
