I'm a lurker and I don't usually comment but she is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! If I had the money I would buy her in a heartbeat! It's a pity you're so hard on yourself, really. Your attention to detail is always incredible and each time you finish adding gems and stuff I think to myself "Wow, so much work, surely he's done with this part" and you surprise me with even more! I hope you finish the rest of the girls and do them the same justice artistically, for yourself. As always I see the end result and the wings and sparkling outfit and be thinking; does that come in my size? It's Feral Dolls OG fashion! I'd be wearing it everyday. I was feeling so low and down this morning but once I noticed your upload it made me motivated. I love them! In my brief search of the comments I couln't find a hair stylist info so I thought I'd pop in in case you're still looking. Box dye in general is essencially made to dye the darkest hair possible to whatever shade the box is attempting to achieve. I don't know if you're in the US but if you are Sally Beauty Suply is probably the best place to get dye if you like using permanent human hair color for dying "doll hair." It's technecally professional product sold to people who don't have a stylist license. Your dye probably didn't dye correctly also because it was a little on the old side. Box dye doesn't have a very long shelf life surprisingly. Also unless you're trying to lighten a really dark fiber you don't need to use more than 10-20 volume developer, usually only 10. Any other questions you might have about specific colors the employees of Sally's are well versed enough to be able to give you decent advice. Hope this helps!

Hello friend beautiful doll as always ❤ just to let you know about the box dye hehe it’s really hard to be sure that the color will be as the same on the picture it was maybe a warmer blonde with a bit of gold in it so didn’t make much of a difference still you nailed it with the RIT dye

Hair stylist here.... The box color is blonde and not yellow so it gave you blonde...so no big difference. but then you put RIT over the colored hair and that is what turned it orange. You should try RIT on virgin hair...ie: no dye on the hair. You need to get fashion colored dye and use that. Fashion colors are normally just a stain so you don't need to add peroxide to achieve the look. For yellow you will also have to bleach out any color on the hair...until its white to get a true yellow. Yellow is the absolutely hardest color to create on hair. My own hair is purple, pink and coral...I wanted to add yellow on the ends...nope...never got there. It is crazy hard.

the main reason the box dye didn't turn out like the box image,, is because they never really do it's an illustration photo. it rarely ever makes hair the color it advertizes, similar, yes. the same? no. and most professional dyes won't either really I speak from having wathced TONS of hair dying videos and fucking around w dyes myself, not a professional, but have listened to professionals educating on hairdying

Honestly I don t get why you decided to dye the hair because the hair that you had at the beginning was almost a perfect match. The dye job totally made her hair two shades darker than needed. It still looks fab tho do not get me wrong. It is just you could have just used bleach on lighter parts and it would have been so much easier. Loving the doll and hope you the best in the future ♡♡♡
