I love being able to watch this video, even 3 years later. I remember seeing it originally, and when I found out that there was an embroidery only version, I about went through the roof! I bought the machine a few months later, and still love it so much. Rewatching this sure makes me miss Louis though. He was such a wonderful educator, and brilliant fiber artist.

i have been buying Brother products since the 70s, I started with their knitting machines; which still work flawlessly, and have 5 different make and model embroidery machines, Plus their PE Design digitizing software. What a great brand.

Their flagship Scan N Cuts support up to 3 sewing/embroidery file types. A nice way to create something on the Scan N Cut, use their desktop software to design something, then save it to USB drive to export it over to their sewing/embroidery machine for finishing.

XE is Embroidery Only. XJ is combination sewing and embroidery. We are now on the Stellaire 2 series. LIke XJ2 and XE2.

I LUV my Stellaire. My question is: can I use the Positioning app with a hoop like the Snap Hoop Monster and the Snowman sticker?

A gay brother representing for Brother. You can legally use any of the images, .SVGs, and other assets of Pixabay for personal and commercial use. They are all licensed for both. Over 2.7 million to choose from. Wouldn't it be easier to incorporate a high quality digital camera into the sewing machine so that people don't have to go through all these extra steps? Different SmartPhone have different kinds of quality & resolutions for their digital cameras. Then there aren't any problems getting different handheld PDAs to work with your computerized machine? Or use the scanner from the Scan N Cut to do the same thing. This seems like a throwback to the old Design N Cut machine that used the same approach. Even when something is copyright protected it is still illegal to make a duplicate of it without the written authorization of the copyright holder. It doesn't matter if you're giving it away or selling it. Both actions have the same criminal penalties. It gets worse though, with the act of acquiring the copyrighted material as a digital photo, video freeze frame, video or scan there are other aspects of Copyright law that you've broken. Beyond all the legal implications of using these features for importing an image it would also be much simpler to use a USB Drive to transfer files over to the machine. As the man said any image that is in your gallery can be sent to the machine. Lots of people don't use wi-fi. Lots of people can't read the small text on a Smart Phone.

Hello! The same copyright rules apply to embroidery. The Disney designs are not able to be sold, but can be gifted. The same goes for other artists' work. I hope that helps! Wouldn't it be easier to incorporate a high-quality digital camera into the sewing machine so that people don't have to go through all these extra steps? Yes that is why they use the iphone. You can save to your phone to import images to my design center in the machine as well. If you are going the camera route we recommend purchasing the full professional digitizing software (PE design 11) Full professional software along with a multineedle machine is what the professionals use.
