To anyone who's wondering (just a hunch, but I'm 99% sure about this theory), Stella has another song named Colors where every color is mentioned (red, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, black, and white) except for orange. I believe this became a meme where everyone listening to the song was waiting for the color orange to be mentioned, presumably those who like the color orange very much, but it didn't happen. she has said since the start that it's because of this. she even drew a comic strip where orange is waiting to appear in colors and it gets mad when it doesn't. also she mentioned she got a lot of comments stating "orange: am I a joke to you?"

Cute story, but there are plenty of other colors not mentioned... magenta and teal/cyan, puce, mauve, indigo, vermilion, lavender, turquoise, maroon, burgundy, grey, ash, burnt sienna, BROWN, cherry (the wood rather than the fruit), bubble gum, etc.
