They need high profit margins because they've sliced capacity so badly. They have to sell one truck for $100k because they can't build the the 20 trucks they can sell at $60k!! The cost cutting and slashing has taken a serious toll on what they are capable of building.

Poor quality aside (which is a given with CDJR) they haven’t made a single good decision since Stellantis bought them. Not one. Prices need to come down 35% to start, they need real American sedans, small SUV’s, V8s in their trucks and large SUVs, scrap EVs because no one will buy them, redesign the challenger, charger, Durango, or just scrap Chrysler and Dodge which is also logical.

Stellantis firing all of its executives will really change the company. I can't believe this could be happening right now. I hope Stellantis get executives that know what we the consumers want. Not the overly priced junk they've been giving us, that we can't even afford. And that we don't want the EV Charger and other products that will be EVs. But them firing all their executives can also be a bad thing, too. So, let's not cheer just yet.

Ted from Belvidere ILL 1268, I think this was a long time coming and is great news!!! We have been telling, as a union, the plant managers that they have been going the wrong direction ever since Stellantis has taken over. I sort of was forced to retire before I wanted too by a couple of years. I had 35 years in, and it was a very sad day when the last car rolled off the line. We as assemblers, repair, and final assembly, that they were building cheap cars. It was very sad to see, but management would not listen to our concerns and thoughts, they just blame the workers for the poor out come of the vehicles. Love your talks and pod cast!!

Good afternoon Mr TK, Domestic auto manufactures are in a real jam, especially CDJR. They are going the way of K Mart and Sears, their business model does not work. The corporation needs to simply restructure and resize, focus on growing their market share. Reduce manufacturing costs and provide a quality initiative. It will be painful and a new and stronger management team will not allow a Union to dictate how the business model should function. My POV this is the first step in a series of changes . A change generates a change which creates change through out. This is a European Company and they are not afraid to take action.
