I was expecting one of two things: 1) That she’d wind up being the big bad of the game 2) That we would free her from the corruption And was not at all expecting the devs would make us take our Best Girl like this.

Really? I wouldn't have seen 1 coming. 2? sure. I've been saying that just like Megaman X(which stellar blade feels like it has a lot of inspiration from) that tachy wasn't dead but would be used against us somehow. Unlike X and Zs 1st fight tho, I ain't expect her to die from it. She gave me big sister/mom vibes. Had she survived (or fought the wing bird from the start) I think she would've been very helpful as a partner in the game. I also find it funny that just like Zeroes death vs Vile in X1, it's the traitor that does tachy in. And they both die to save the weaker MC. Makes me think if we save her memory disk, we could build her a new body and implant it. It's what happens to Zero

Agree. I decided I'd wait to see what the storyline with Tachy was before buying the game. I think this is a poor choice, and I did't buy the game solely for this reason.

@@bluesheep54 I will say, a prequel dlc/game for the Angel's in the colony wouldve been cool. However u have to keep in mind this they 1st game. Just like megaman X, we get far more lore for each character as the games progressed. Hate to say it but for eve to grow, Tachy had to die. Similar to X. And u never know, just like in X2/X6, tachy could come back. Ppl really been digging for any reason not to buy this game tho😂

@@Patches234 It's in a conversation Eve has with Kaya. I think it might be after maxing affinity with her? Can't remember. Kaya talks about her missing sister and that's when Eve brings up that she has someone who is a sister to her.

Tachy is captain of the 7th airborne squad and all the others have a basically 100% death rate there’s nothing to put her as dlc unless maybe it’s all simulation training

See, I had a feeling that we would be seeing Tachy again in the game, and we would be fighting against her (classic trope, after all, of your commanding officer and best friend becoming your enemy). But I had no idea that she would be turned into an Alpha Naytiba. It does bring some comfort, however, that she became Eve's enemy against her will, and that she still cared deeply for Eve; I thought she would willingly betray her former squad mate. I would love to see a spinoff and/or prequel of this game that focuses on her! There is some possibilities for this universe to be expanded upon, so it will be interesting to see if Shift Up continues with this series going forward.

Ngl this boss fight was pretty hard and attempted it 10 times. 11th time I blasted her with every single round I had and every single smart mine. The 2nd round I still died, used the heart and hope to god I win cuz my controller took a bad beating after wailing it at the wall.

I think the trick with these boss battles is that you can't bum-rush them. You have to get in a couple of hits, then pull back to avoid their attacks. Rinse and repeat. That's how I've been able to beat the last couple bosses in the game.

I bought two copies of this game, the digital deluxe and the physical version. I have yet to play it but i have wached complete walkthroughs of the game. Looks like i don't actually need to play it anymore because it is the type of game that you watch or play it once and you are done.

No disrespect to the voiceactors, but I felt the Japanese VA was way more emotional. You can notice they added the english cast last minute because of sonys funding. Probably why it feels a bit rushed and „weird“ at some points in the game. Love the game though!
