Thanks so much for this. No one would help me get started with modding, but this video actually let me finally create a civic I've always dreamed of. Something that really lets a standard biological empire go all-in on robots and have demographics similar to a Rogue Servitor. I created a simple "automated utopia" civic that gives -40% bio growth and +40% robot growth. Amazing!

I hope you won't have to update these videos after some new dlc, because stellaris has plenty of these design oversights like the mess they made of ship design and folder structure... Good job sensei... looking forward for more...

Trying to figure out how to mod agrarian Idyll, but the primary effects of the civic aren't listed in the civics file? Not sure where to find them. Any idea what's going on?

i wonder if u could help me so i followed all the steps to make a new mod anc effectivly copied another civic being devouring swam as i just wanted to make the terrorvor aspect for all races. i managed to make it show by changeing the authority to being { NOT = { value = auth_corporate } } and set the trigger for making it swap to terrorvore to local_human_species_class = AQUATIC the civic now shows and i can add it but the effect dont work i dont get the ability to use the consume world and i dont even get the effects from the civic lik the +20% reasurch and so on. is the comthing special i am missing in making that just avaliable to all types ?

Have asimmilar problem as i deleted the exclusion of indentured assets and corporate hedonism. I can select it and all but it has no effect
