The ability to drive to almost any location and experience the true nature of the surroundings is what excites me about travelling in a camper. What doesn't sit well with me is when you find amazing beauty spots with rubbish everywhere, including human waste, and the locals don't seem to care either, so after a few days of dealing with rude Italians or the rubbish around the parkup I decided to get out of Italy....Though not before seeing some amazing scenery and I also couldn't miss an opportunity to ride my bike on the mountain roads too.
