For Osteoporosis, did I understand that the cells will not be deployed to locally grow bone at one or more sites but instead the hypotheis is that the cells instead "boost" the overall internal environment and then the regular bone building mechanisms get a more global boost rather than being specifically boosted.

PRP can be used strategically. It is an adjunct tool in regenerative medicine. It can be included or not included - depending on the treatment need, and whether local injections are involved.

Dr... is intravenous enough ... I'm talking to a company that will come to my home.......at 73 years young and just started having a hip osteoporosis hip problem ....my orthopedic Dr.will inject your stem cells ...in my hip joint ...but is reluctant to interviniously....also I'm healthy ...other wise ....but concerned about them coming to my home ....you express the importance of administering introviniously...to avoid stroke embolism ....this company is in New Orleans ... your office gave me their name and number.... just would like your input ...and being as I described .... how many CC's would you suggest.... there's a reasonable price break ....but would appreciate your advice ....I will maybe hopefully ....not need also injection in hip ....with my Dr..... along with a boost of PRP as you mentioned in your very informative videos ....my friends are coming on board... thank God and going to use me as a guinea pig ...😀... @@judyfasola3737 Dear Judy, unfortunately, we are still at a primitive stage in stem cell therapy, and there’s a lot of opposition from the industry that’s making astronomical amount of money from people being sick and staying sick… because of such atmosphere, a lot of doctors are in fear… that said, if you do have hip problems, local injections are helping, and mixing cells with PRP is very helpful too for local injection. For large joints like the hips and knees, there’s extremely slow exchange between the blood and the fluid surrounding the joint, so targeting locally is helpful and will expedite healing. However, osteoporosis is a systemic condition, and intravenous route will target many of the mechanisms that’s perpetuating osteoporosis. Dosage for local joint is 1-2cc per joint, depending on severity. Intravenous route depends on body weight (1cc for every 60 lbs of body weight, age (add 1cc for age over 65) and health issues (add another cc for significant health issues)… I will be happy to discuss the protocol with your doctor.
