OhMyGosh, those three cards are SPOOKTACULARLY Adorable. I don't know how you managed it but even on the Pumpkin background when your white gouache made a couple of unwanted/unplanned globs they landed so strategically on the pumpkins, I was amazed, while I know they irritated you as I watched on I saw what made perfect big white eyes on one, a perfect white nose on one and cute little teeth on others. I can assure you that had I done that it would have been "background meets trash" there would have been no saving it. I think I've said this before but I could watch you color for hours on end, in watching you, I've even been breaking out my Copic markers that I had collected but was then too afraid to use them. If only I could figure out the "perfect" colors for the jobs as you always know to use I will finally feel my desire to own Copics has paid off (THANK YOU for instilling bravery in me that I couldn't muster until watching the ease in which you use them) IF ever you wish to make a little informative video I would greatly appreciate a little tutorial on using Copic Markers as a bonus to add interest and subtle changes to umph up your cards. Last night as I re-watched one of your Christmas 22 wreath cards when you used a Copic over red cardstock and it added so much dimension to the little red bow (yep, I'm a re-watcher) - THANKS SO MUCH for all you share, anytime I see a post in my email for a new video, I know it's going to be a GREAT day.

Nichol, what would you consider must haves for a beginner card maker? I have pawsitively inks, platinum machine, and mini misti. No stamps, stencils, dies, pattern paper, cardstock, embellishments, etc. Do you have a short list of things I need first? Nested rectangle dies is already on my list, but I got lost when looking at Lawn Fawn grassy and cloudy borders LOL send help!

What ink did you use that stained your mat? Do regular die inks stain. Love the mat

This is really quite random, but watching your video and noticing your mat is stained…NOT A CRITICISM! - it is loved and well used😉 A long time ago when plastic food storage was still ok, lol, I was taught that when red sauce stained them, to stick it out side…and the sun would naturally “bleach them” to make them look brand new again👍🏼 Just curious if this would work on these silicone mats as well🤔 Has anyone tried?
