Step 11: “Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.”
This video is a great way to start praying and meditating in the Morning or you can add it to your Morning routine (or whenever works for you). Enjoy this video, sit back and listen to step 11 from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (end of pg.85 - pg.88), Meditate for 5 minutes, and listen to a few prayers. I will read the Saint Francis Prayer, the 3rd Step Prayer, and the long version of the Serenity Prayer. You can watch this video soon after you wake up, either sit comfortably in a chair or do it before you get out of bed in the morning. I hope you find guidance, peace and good orderly direction. I have found this combination of readings and meditation very helpful and I hope you do too! It only takes about 15 minutes!
It’s a good addition to the "A New Day: 365 Meditations for Personal and Spiritual Growth" videos, I like doing both most days, you can try that if you want a little extra serenity.
