Hey Naomi, I was curious if you can use the same weight with the pyramid sets? I just don't want to take a lot of DBs especially when there's a lot of people in my campus gym. Also, I always get excited when you upload! I've been incorporating your workouts with mine. 💕

Awh, TYSM, babe! 😩🙏🏼 It wouldn’t be quite as effective using the same weight for each set inside the pyramid set, but if you’d like to use only one dumbbell so as not to take up so much equipment, then I’d recommend instead of doing the Goblet Squats in a pyramid set, just do 10-12 reps for each round of the circuit using a 3-second negative + 1-sec pause at the bottom of the squat! Lmk if that makes sense! ❤️

What would be the appropriate dumbell weight for a beginner?

For someone who’s never done any of these exercises, 2.5-5lbs/dumbbell is a great place to start! Once you can comfortably do 12-15 reps of an exercise with good form, then bump up the weight. 👍🏼

Some constructive criticism: First of all, I really enjoy your content. However, I find it hard to follow along with what you are saying. I feel you’re trying to be quick and concise, but your words seem to run together for me, making it difficult to understand. I think some more enunciation or possibly a slightly slower pace would help tremendously. Please don’t take this as hate. Love your workouts!
