Hmm... well with acrylic If you’re having a hard time blending then you might no be adding enough water to your mixture!!

When you are adding in your initial colors for the background, like the blue and yellow, is your brush dry or damp?

My brush is dry but it only works if you work fast while blending. You can dip your brush in some water too and work that way as well but you will need to make sure your acrylic has dried for at least an hour

She doesn’t really SHOW how to do anything actually. And considering the fact that she paints galaxies exclusively, you’d think her videos would be more informative on the techniques she uses to create them. She won’t even explain how she creates those beautiful stars, so it’s like, what’s the point of her videos? For us to watch her paint? Because they’re definitely NOT tutorials lol ... but also not amazing enough to watch , just for the sake of watching, her create the same theme repeatedly 🥱

What brush/technique should I use if I don’t have a blending brush?

I don’t use blending brushes either so you’re in luck! It’s hard for me to recommend anything because the way I paint is so specific I use round bristle brushes which are very rough but some people prefer a really softt brushes for galaxies
