3:45. Pain in the right ankle gets real serious, real quick.
@AJediSurvivor Жыл бұрын
What’s annoyed me about this is this dude came in with the tiniest bit of foot pain and got physio straight away in the previous video. I’ve had a back problem for around 18 months and it took a few months for me to get physio. I’m unable to work because I have trouble walking, I can’t lift anything heavy, have trouble standing up and sitting down, have trouble sleeping, can’t hold my 1 year old daughter for very long and a plethora of other things I can’t do. Been doing physio for months with no improvement whatsoever and it was only the other day that physio turned round and said we’re transferring you to MSK (musculoskeletal triage unit) at hospital which should have happened months ago.

I’m not entirely sure about the repeated “skeleton then skin” what do you think?
@msaditu Жыл бұрын
@@DrJamesGillI think that showing it on the skeleton first, followed by the demonstration on the skin is excellent teaching because it makes it very clear to understand from both an anatomical and clinical examination perspectives.

I have joint hypermobility syndrome with very rolly ankles and when I broke my ankle & leg (rolled it falling on a wet floor and broke something in my medial malleolus and fibula) the doctor basically said "this was going to happen at some point", which is a fun thing to be told! much more careful with my ankle support these days.

All that anatomy! I wouldn't last a week in classes. It looked like the patient had a callus on his right foot, or was it my imagination? If there was, I expected you to comment on this as a potential problem. With a sore spot on the foot, one might alter their gait, and that can lead to other issues.
