If your KAU scholarship application is approved from the department, You can say that it is 90% selection, After getting approval from the department. Your application will send to the ministry of education and Saudi embassy will investigate your case. If you don't have any criminal record or passed the security clearance they will provide you the visa. I think for January 2025 intake, you would het the visa. But as we are expecting a fast visa process this year, may be you can join KAU in September 2024. But no-one knows exactly. Just keep hopes and Good luck

السلام و علیکم ، Did you apply for the PhD? I've received two emails first from deanship that I'm eligible and my application has been sent to the concerning department. And in April 2024, I received another email to upload my details in pdf file as I have been passed by the concerning physics department too. Did you go through the same procedure??? It's been two months now and I didn't get any updates about MOE for further processing.

السلام و علیکم ، عثمان بھائی مجھے king abdulaziz کی دو ای میل آئی تھیں ایک یہ کہ میں phd physics کے لیے applicable ہوں اور میری application concerning ڈیپارٹمنٹ کو بھیج دی گئی ہے۔ پھر 3 ماہ بعد یعنی 2 اپریل 2024 کو ای میل آئی تھی کہ concerning department نے آپ کو پاس کر دیا ہے لہٰذا آپ اپنے اکاؤنٹ پر جا کر اپنی details pdf بنا کر بھیجیں۔ اب تقریباً دو ماہ ہونے کو ہیں مگر کوئی اور response نہیں۔ مزید کتنا وقت لگ سکتا؟ آپکی رہنمائی درکار ہے جزاک اللّٰہ
