@@bongobongo985they could have if not for him and his wife's spousal problems. Sasha was dropped from the show because she made domestic abuse allegations against him. While he was protecting his kids he was in the wrong, and put them in danger. @@Father_of_Death He hasn't retired from acting. Sasha Mitchell was cast in a movie titled _Anadellia Rises,_ released in 2018 and had been tabbed to appear in another _Kickboxer_ film, _The Kickboxer: Algiers,_ but that film became stuck in development hell once its co-writer and director Albert Pyun entered hospice care for Multiple Sclerosis. This show is almost 30 years old now. That blows my f'n mind. I close my eyes sometimes and it still feels like the early 90's. Yes - Ever since I had my first kid a couple years ago I’ve been incredibly nostalgic about the 90s and yearn for that time. It probably has more to do with being a kid then than it does with the actual time period I am starting to consider. Think about it: anyone over the age of 60 does not give a crap about the 90s. He was a great part of the show, his absence ruined it. But there are two things I could never understand - he does not speak like a guy frow Wisconsin, he speaks like a youngster from Venice Beach, CA. The second thing is that he's virgin in the show and proud one. The sex as a topic is somehow presented as something bad when it comes to the teenagers from the show. No one from the kids of Frank or Carol has sex, no matter how many oppurtinities he/she has. It should not be that way at all.

To me he's a good role model for those who suffer with insecurities as he makes it ok for people to be different and have choices without feeling ashamed for them, he never pushes his life style on others so why be bothered by it.

I loved how his hidden talent was martial arts. Like he was all goofy and funny and quirky but then he would mess up SOMEBODY of they messed with him or the people he cared about. So epic.
@RyGuy420892 жыл бұрын
Sasha Mitchell is a martial artist in real life.

Hard to imagine Cody has allegation of domestic abuse thrown against him (part of the reason he had to leave the show). Glad Sasha Mitchell was found not guilty though.

Not only was Sasha clear of domestic violence and he was award primary custody of his children and his stepdaughter and his ex-wife got supervised a visit with their children which was only a few hours and eventually she stop seeing their children and she got into a fight with her parents because they took Sasha side

They changed his personality and line delivery big time from the pilot episodes to Season 1. He almost sounded like a California surfer in the pilot episodes.

@julie.6611 ай бұрын
He is just very special I don't think the writers thought he was dumb... The actor, in interview, either... But special with his brain🤔...IF they put some thoughts in the writing, creating characters.. then it's more like a neurodivergent type(ADHD type of guy?or a bigger disorder like Aspergers... I got ADHD with meds, and when I meet ADHD"brothers" in real life, they are a bit like Cody😂...acting different, BUT in the same way too😂. Or Kramer from Seinfeld haha ) I hope I'm not wrong and that the writers didn't just just LAUGH at him😢...that would be kinda insulting haha. Love to Codyyyy(we R on Valentine's day❤❤❤❤❤😅)

Feb 2022. Watching on IMDb TV. Cody made the show a hit. I liked the times when he showed maturity like the episode where he was going to marry a woman with a child. I also liked the relationship he had with Uncle Frank and how he would ask him for advice. There was a strong physical presence when they were in the same space because Patrick is tall too. Show was not as fun without Cody.
@lexkanyima21952 жыл бұрын
They are equally tall

There was an episode in the 3rd season where Cody's father/Frank's brother visits. And Frank says to his brother. "Why would he rather live in my driveway, than your house?" It showed that Frank really understood Cody while his father was always trying to change him
@90srocked222 жыл бұрын
The ironic thing is just like urkel, Cody was only supposed to be one time character. In fact in his first episode he mentioned he was"staying for the weekend" a few episodes later they decided to bring him back for good as a regular and he saved the show. I feel like step by step wouldn't have lasted any longer if Cody hadn't been brought in. He wasn't in the last 2 seasons but by then the other characters had been well defined enough to keep the show going. For a few more years at least

That may have been the endgame. Had Sasha Mitchell not been fired from the series, Cody and Dana might have paired off.
