Step by Step Construction in the DR - Roof Tiling & Panete

Continuing on we are now entering week 15. The crew continued installing the Pañete in the interior and the Pañete de caliche on the exterior. At the same time the work begins on the roof. The first step is prepping the surface and making sure it’s completely clean and free of any small stones or pieces left over from the pañete. As simple as it sounds this still makes for one of the most important steps in insuring that the tiles have a good solid FLAT surface to adhere to. Small imperfections create uneven surfaces and that creates problems in the future. Many times over the years being on various jobsites I’ve personally witnessed the tar paper isn’t even being used! After this video the fun begins as we approach the finishing stages of the construction. A different crew begins working on the interior, the floors and the cabinetry. Yes but in the future. Put electric is running about 60 dollars per month so it’s also a cost factor. We have a good generator backup system though just in case. Thank you for watching

Whats a breakdown of the construction costs of something like this out in DR? Would love you to make a video explaining and breaking down the costs of the planning,permits,construction parts.
