Hi, Lisa, this is the COOLEST. I do mixed media art, and jewelry. My aesthetic is quirky, whimsical. I never explored doing digital collage. I will try it now! I love photography, and the mixed media/texture elements of it is really appealing. So fun, thanks for sharing!!!

Yay you are so welcome! Tech is so improved now that even in the years since I've made this video it's becomes increasingly easier to be able to access tools with whch to create this art - an ipad with procreate installed and an apple stylus is all you need, no need for a big fancy tablet anymore. :)

Rebecca Collins Hah I am glad you concur.. maybe you know it was this style in the noughties that we all grew out of (or are growing out of maybe) but I kind of find it incensing now.. leaves me at a loss as to whether I should keep selling these old (some as old as ten years) works in my store because they do sell, but they don’t represent me anymore. I’m working on altering my ‘business’ model because these kinds of paintings as I’m doing now have less print-appeal it would seem... thanks for the kudos over the editing, still kind of trying to figure out what works or not, not sure if I should do voice overs for these or whether they’re annoying or not 😂 ... ever angsting, me :P

Yay, i've waited for this. I don't know if I just watch the wrong videos/media, but I find your digital collage pieces so refreshing for the eye. Since I saw your vids, I have this constant itching in the curious corners in my brain: i want to try it out myself, my own Style mixed up with my own drawings/paintings. So thanks for your insights and opening up my mind :) i don't know anybody who does this as well. Have you any suggestions who to look up?

Hey Terry that's so awesome to hear 😊🤗 that it makes you wanna try. Neat!! I've been recording every single thing I work on now. This technique is one I developed myself so no one that I know of does exactly this - mixing this much photo in a Frankensteinish way - but matte paintings, what they use in film backdrops, are something you might wanna look into, the technique is similar when doing backgrounds. It all depends how much realism you dig for. I'd love to see what you come up with! Do you have photoshop, tablet etc? 😊

Terry Berry Creates also so envious because my beloved display tablet broke some weeks ago and it can't be fixed.. I have to wait some months before I can get it replaced. 😅
