If you select JRF then by default you become eligible for LS in case if your cutoff for JRF is not reached

It'll be required, although I didn't checked but you try with EWS and see whether you're asked to upload certificate or not at the end.

Sir I actually I'm from EWS category but currently it's expired and for CSIR NET application form I have given my EWS certificate for renew but as it's official work I can't make it soon by my own. So in that case may I registered myself as EWS category on the basis of my old certificate.
