Hierarchy is a big point. I’ve worked with many people (non photography) that don’t respect the ranks. Ego should be left at the doorstep when you’re a team and achieving a goal together. Great video elmer!

09:58 Say it louder for the people in the back, not just for seconds, but for lead photographers. To this day, I'm floored by how many dude photographers show up in jeans and sneakers and lady photographer/videographers show up in yoga pants and tank tops. I mean hey! They got the body to flaunt it, go for it, I ain't complaining. But a client's wedding ain't the time for it. I admit, I look like a bum with beat up vans, self cut shorts and an old ass Blockbuster t-shirt on the daily smelling like chicken poop at times (I have 10 chickens), but when it comes time to get it up for a wedding, I don't play. I make the effort to blend in with the guests. Which is a double edge sword, because on the one hand, I manage to get good candids and sneak in a drink or two (looking at you stingy wedding venues), but on the other, and if there's a video team present with a backup photo guy, I'm often mistaken as a guest and get the usual "oh, the photographer already took my picture."

You know what man, you’re better off being overdressed than underdressed. You can always take the tie off and roll up the sleeves if you feel like you’re too dressed up for a certain event. But you can’t put a tie on that you don’t have with you. You absolutely have The right mentality. I can tell by your photo on here 🙌 Personally I don’t really care what other photographers or videographers do, but the standard that I set for our team is something that everyone on the TNK team knows and respects. What’s funny is that one of our Photographer shot for another team, and they recognized that he worked for us just because he showed up in a Navy suit. That made me feel good lol
