From my observation and historical market pattern, there might be a bit of turbulence in the market coming up, but here's the deal: Trying to guess what's going to happen next is less important than spreading your bets when trading and thinking long term. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Stuart Michael Trading , whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

GUYS BE VERY CAREFUL WITH US BROKERAGES. If you die with forign assets, it will be very dificult to get the assets back to your relatives. Your relatives will need to get a succession document (1 to 1.5 years in Indian court, 10 to 20 hearings minimum) followed by 'document Apostille' by the embassy (0.5 to 1 year). After that, you will need to send it to the US brokers who will take their own sweet time. In all, it will take 2 to 3 years and countless court visits and fees.

Regarding the 3% inflation rate, it's important to note that it may not accurately reflect the true cost increases you're experiencing in your area. In our Midwestern city, real price inflation seems closer to 20%. Do you foresee a reduction in costs for essentials like food, gasoline, or insurance in the near future? We've significantly cut our spending and plan to continue doing so until prices decrease, as we feel it's our responsibility to adapt to these changes.
@lisahaney-m4o10 күн бұрын
Looking at the aggregated totals by kind since 2021, when it started to take off, you can see that the embedded amount of inflation currently approaches 20%.

Right, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, amid covid-19 outbreak, I needed a good boost to help boost my business, hence I researched for licensed advisors and thankfully came across someone of excellence. Helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $350k to nearly $1m as of today

@@JosefaJeunesse Finding financial advisors like Elizabeth cordle gross, who can assist you on things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.

If you hold or sell foreign assets, you need to make declaration in the following schedule in your ITR compulsorily: Section FA, FSI, TR, A/L and CG. One small mistake and you will get ₹30,000/- fine.

Oh, I forgot 'Form 67' too. So that makes it a total of 6 declarations 😂

Hi.Neil....can you suggest any etf in US for say 3 yrs period? Moderate appreciation.

Good question. US offers ETFs investing in emerging markets like Brazil, Mexico, China, Vietnam etc which are beaten down and developed markets like Europe & Japan. A diversified portfolio of some of these ETFs + gradual deployment on corrections in an S&P 500 ETF could insulate you from the run up in US tech stocks.
