So interesting! Lovely presentation and personality. It would have been great to see the darned pointe shoe in an arabesque or pique and an undarned pointe shoe in arabesque and piqe. Excellent tutorial.

This video is very helpful thank you! Is it completely necessary to create holes before darning?
@dpuntillas46103 ай бұрын
Thank you :) The reason why I make the holes is to have a more long lasting darning. In the past I didn’t make this holes and it happened several times that my darning ripped the satin for my pointe shoe and it was completely undone (with freed of London). By making the holes I make sure it wont go anywhere.

Hola. Gracias
@dpuntillas4610 Жыл бұрын
Hola!

Do you just go through the satin or the actual shoe? Thank you so much, such a great video!!☺️
@dpuntillas46103 жыл бұрын
I go through the actual shoe so that the darning doesn’t move at All, with the use satin stops been so reliable. I help myself with the pocky so that when I go through with the needle the hole it’s already done :)

Hi! Where is the thread from?? Thanks for the video, i love how is explained💕
@dpuntillas46103 жыл бұрын
I‘m so glad you liked it 🤗 The thread that I use its 100% cotton, its the one that I personally find has the best grip and of course not slippery at all :) I usually buy it in a sewing store but this one from Amazon it’s also great www.amazon.com/algodón-cocinar-alimentos-cocinas-manualidades/dp/B06XDMQTD8/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=cotton+string&pd_rd_r=ad9f399b-8fb3-499e-aa2b-83bd22653f65&pd_rd_w=3Epfs&pd_rd_wg=BFuyz&pf_rd_p=ce028c81-ed8c-425a-8404-93bf425aa8ce&pf_rd_r=184QGW0HQE370M0NC33M&qid=1640074542&sr=8-5
