Very educational video Todd, I personally don't have a Saw Mill. I just like watching wood get cut. I think that you should be sponsored by @Woodmizer . Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Instead of putting all of that wood in the burn pile, you could cut it up for people to burn in there fireplaces for the winter that can't afford to buy wood. They could go ahead and start to make a stoke pile of it. Give to a family in your community. It's just a thought. Love all your videos. God Bless you and I am praying for your wife and you also.

They told me I’m looking at 3-4 more days in hospital. It will depend on how my lungs respond weaning off the steroids. I’m praying they do well. I’m so ready to go home! Whatever you do, don’t wood burn rich lighter pine... it puts a toxic smoke off. That’s what has caused all my problems....

Have you ever tried the Diesel drip ONLY ? no water. When i was using water it would build up around the roller guide and in the sawdust shoot, but with the Diesel Drip there is no build up now. Just wondering if you have tried only Diesel Drip ?

The Acc 2 has its own adjustment as long as your blade is level to the mill and not dipping you can set to 12’’ hit rest on computer it will be set at 12 easy to work with

Thxs good info on how to cut....How long did it take you to get how fast you push when cutting? And does it depend on what kind of wood you are sawing???
@ReapWhatYouSeauxLeJeune3 жыл бұрын
You have to Listen to the machine you can hear the motor when you’re going to fast starts bogging down the Trick to cut Goodwood is to slow down take your time. Change your blades before you have to it is a lot easier to cut with a Sharp blade.I will do a video very soon on my sharpener

@@ReapWhatYouSeauxLeJeune So one speed no mater what kind wood you are sawing??
@ReapWhatYouSeauxLeJeune3 жыл бұрын
Hard wood is a little slower but not enough to tell if it’s green dry hard wood slows you down more. Now Certain types of hardwood like pecan and hickory or hard to cut when it dries it slows you down a lot

Just came across your video. Quick question. I’m closing on 12 acres of property at the end of the month. I’ve got about 30 mature oaks that I’m gonna be cutting down to make way for a homestead. In your honest opinion, would a sawmill like this be worth it? I hate to just pile those beautiful logs up and burn them, and I don’t see myself making enough money trying to sell them. I’ve considered purchasing a mill like this to utilize the oaks. Thoughts?
@ReapWhatYouSeauxLeJeune Жыл бұрын

Yes it’s a lot of hard work but can be a lot of fun. Lots of people get into it thinking they going to make a lot of money. They find out quick it’s a lot of hard labor. We been having Woodmizer sawmills since 1987 . Great company

How much will the 2x4s shrink when they dry
@ReapWhatYouSeauxLeJeune3 жыл бұрын
Very little .just get a lot lighter. The 1x12’s will shrink around 1/4 on the width
@brucea5503 жыл бұрын
Well done video! Only comment would be regarding drip. It’s not to cool the blade, ever. Lubrication only. If you need to cool the blade something else is wrong.
